Many years ago, my husband shot a bear which supplied an overabundance of fat. Not wanting to waste this fat, I proceeded to melt down the fat and made soap. At that time there was little information to find but the soap made was mild and got us clean. We have used hand made soap ever since, modifying the oils which are now vegetable, using wonderful essential oils and herbs and sometimes locally produced goat milk. We sell the soap in various local shops as well as the studio and offer frequent classes for the public. We get repeat students who appreciate the wonderful results they get with the soap and the fact that we have the supplies and equipment which is needed to make soap. The social contact while making something so valuable and usable is always a plus.
Classes are offered regularly. Just ask. The soap made is cold processed which we feel makes the best product.
