I carded some more wool today to work on the workout mat. When I went to felt it, found I needed a longer bamboo mat so worked on that and then it was time to get dinner. I now plan to felt the batting and then put it into the cover. It is all an experiment.

I am a mature woman, married to a wonderful, patient man and having three wonderful full grown children, all with special qualities which make them unique and challenging. I love to make stuff from the beginning and being a fibre artist allows me to do this. I also cook from the ground up, having a garden which in my town is often very challenging as it is a short season, close to wildlife which is as interested in the vegetable and fruit offerings as I am, so we race each other to the harvest. I find it challenging to find attractive clothing which is also comfortable and if it is not in the Thrift Shop, I find myself making it. As a spinner and weaver, often my projects are seen on my back.
